The noise was unbearable with children screaming through the thin walls, and the shared bathrooms? Absolutely unacceptable. I expected a special gesture for my troubles but was sadly ignored. I almost considered leaving a good review, but I just couldn't. Such a shame for such an overrated place.

Lovely stay in Irvine 🌊

The staff were super friendly, really made us feel at home and even kept the kids busy with crayons while we waited for food. The view of the harbour was just stunning! Beds were comfy and our room was always spotlessly cleaned, fresh towels every day – it was a lekker stay!

The shared bathroom was a bit of a mission, might be a bit of a downer for couples.

Great views but noisy nights

The sea views were absolutely stunning, and the room was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. I was quite disappointed with the noise levels during the weekend. the live music echoed through the night, making it hard to get a good night's sleep, especially with a little one in tow.

I encountered significant noise issues. other residents were loud throughout the night and the shared bathroom was often left in disarray by guests. The heat in our room was unbearable, and although I flagged it, no one followed through on the promise for a fan. the price felt steep considering the lack of en-suite facilities and overall comfort of the beds was lacking.

I loved the big, tidy room with one super comfy bed and enjoyed the delicious food downstairs. Relaxing in the garden area was a treat and listening to the live music made it even better. Just a heads up, the check-in at the pub can be a bit chaotic when it's busy. 🌞
